Welcome to Wild Catch! By the Tiny Fishers Group
ABOUT THE GAME:
In this game, we are approaching the classic arcade fishing game by allowing the players to catch fish and avoid obstacles or enemies.
You’ll be playing as John, the fisherman.
John is a simple fisherman who is just trying to keep his health meter up by collecting as much fish as he can eat! Unfortunately the weather just keeps on getting worse and worse.
This game has 3 levels! Ranging from easy to difficult with new obstacles and changes in weather. You must try your best to avoid obstacles and catch the cute looking fish, keep an eye out for the rare golden ones. As you progress through the levels, the score you need to achieve to win will increase, making the game more challenging.
DESIGN OBJECTIVE:
Wild Catch was created for IMD2006 (Introduction to Game Design and Development) by a group of students at Carleton University. Our main goals for this game include:
- Single player
- KEYBOARD controls
- Provide an increase of adrenaline and pressure as you move through the level
- Nice visuals
